WEST END, N.C. -- The 7th North Carolina Super Senior Amateur Championship will be played at Cape Fear Country Club in Wilmington from September 29-30. Opened in 1896, the club is the oldest private country club in the state and has longtime ties with the Carolinas Golf Association. Three Carolinas Amateur Championships have been conducted on the original Donald Ross designed course that will be set at approximately 6,100 yards with a par of 72.

WEST END, N.C. – The Carolinas Golf Association has announced a record 40 team bracket for this year's CGA Interclub Championship playoffs. Along with this year’s 33 automatic qualifiers, the Championship committee rewarded 7 other clubs with a .500 won/loss record a playoff invitation based on group play.
