Handicap Revision Schedule

The CGA is authorized by the United States Golf Association (USGA) to establish a schedule for revising USGA handicap indexes in the Carolinas and to monitor implementation. The CGA issues handicap indexes for more than 150,000 golfers at over 700 member clubs in the Carolinas annually.

The Carolinas observes a 12-month handicap score posting season. Using the GHIN Handicap Service, handicap indexes are automatically updated at the server level shortly after midnight on each revision date. Handicap indexes are updated on the 1st and 15th of each month as follows:
