WEST END, NC - A team of eight North Carolina amateurs will be chasing their 3rd victory in a row when they go against eight North Carolina PGA professionals in the 20th Tar Heel Cup Matches at The Country Club of North Carolina in Pinehurst, NC on March 24 and 25. Due to the course conditions at High Point Country Club's Willow Creek course from the ice storm a couple of weeks ago and the rainfall this week slowing down the clean-up process, the senior four-ball one-day tournament on Thursday, March 20 is cancelled. The One-Day Four-Ball Tournament scheduled for Monday, March 3 at Duke University Club has been cancelled due to the impending weather conditions.  

With the threat of ice and sleet starting mid-day tomorrow, we thought in the best interest of everyone travelling to and from the golf course to cancel the event and reschedule it for a later date.

The rescheduled date is yet to be determined.

All players will be refunded their full amount of the entry fee and will have to sign up for the new tournament again when registration opens.
