10th DOGWOOD STATE JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP AT SAPONA RIDGE COUNTRY CLUB IN LEXINGTON, NC - AUGUST 5-7, 2014

WEST END, NC (8/1/14) -- The 10th Dogwood State Junior Championship will be held at Sapona Ridge Country Club in Lexington, NC on August 5-7, 2014.

35 junior girls and 89 exempt junior boys are entered into this year's Championship. The championship format is 54 holes of stroke play. Boys and girls will compete in divisions based on gender. There are no age divisions. Each division will be cut to the low half and ties after 36 hol...

Update at 2:07pm: We are going to play golf! Due to course conditions, we will play an 18-hole par 3 course today. Best we can do under the circumstances. Players meet at scoreboard at 3:00pm to receive instructions. Range and putting green is open. Please take a cart.

Update at 10:35am: Rain has returned to River Landing. We have moved the shotgun start back to 3:00pm. We hope to play the round of 32 today if at all possible. We will make a final decision regarding today's play by 1:30pm.
