BLYTHEWOOD, SC – Sectional qualifying results of the 2014 Carolinas Senior Amateur Championship hosted by Cobblestone Park Golf Club in Blythewood, SC on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 (6350 yards, Par 35-36—71, 71.4/128).
Sean McAvoy from Johns Island, SC carded a two-under par 69 to claim medalist honors. The cut line fell at five-over par 76. 16 players advanced to the Carolinas Senior Amateur Championship that will be played September 24-26 at Sedgefield Country Club (Dye Course) in Greensboro, NC.
This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association which is in its 105th year of serving amateur golf in the Carolinas.
