US Senior Women's Am Qualifying - Colonial CC

 

THOMASVILLE, N.C. (August 30, 2023) -- Final results from U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Qualifying at Colonial Country Club in Thomasville, S.C. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. (5,569, par 71).

Three qualifying spots and two alternate spots were available at this qualifying site. 

Brenda Corrie Kuehn of Asheville, N.C. won medalist honors with a round of even-par 71. Sarah Phillips-Durst of Pinehurst, N.C. shot four-over-par 75 and Noreen Moehler of Bethlehem, PA finished at five-over-par 76 to claim the second and third qualifying spots. Amber Marsh Elliott won the first alternate spot in a playoff after shooting six-over-par 77. Judy Penman of Pinehurst, N.C. will be the second alternate.

The qualifiers will advance to play in the championship at Troon Country Club in Scottsdale, AZ from September 30 to October 5.
