Dogwood Championship Site Change to River Landing
The Dogwood State Junior Boys’ Championship site and dates have been changed. The tournament will now be played at River Landing (Landing Course) in Wallace, NC on July 20-22, 2020.
The Landing Course has hosted U.S. Open Qualifiers as well as CGA Championships. Full details on the championship can be found below, website information will be updated later. We want to thank the membership and staff of River Landing for their willingness to host the event. This decision was made after discussions with the CC of Landfall and their board of directors concerning outside play.
Championship Information
Format & Prizes: Championship is conducted at 54 holes of stroke play. After 36 holes, the field is cut to the low 60 and ties for the final round. An on-course play-off is used to break a tie for the championship.
Practice Round Information: Available: Any day, space permitting, after July 9 Practice Round fee: $20

Sunday, July 19 Practice Rounds Available (afternoon)
Monday, July 20 Round 1 Tee times off #1 (8:00am-2:30pm) (starting time requests accepted but not guaranteed)
Tuesday, July 21 Round 2 Tee times off #1 (8:00am-2:30pm)
Cut to low 60 and ties
Wednesday, July 22 Final Round Tee times off #1 (8:00AM)

Food & Beverage: Clubhouse will be closed for food and beverage for Rounds 1 and 2. A beverage cart with premade sandwiches, drinks and snacks will be available by the practice range. The halfway house will be open also for purchases.
Payment Options: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover will be accepted in the Pro Shop. Those, and cash, will be accepted for food and beverage purchases.
Caddie Information: Players must walk at all times. No Caddies.
Push Carts: Push carts are permitted.
Spectator Information: Spectators are welcome at CGA championships but are asked to follow all CGA Covid Protocols. Spectator carts will be available for rent for $25 per day. Carts must remain on the cart path and out of the way of play.
