Carolinas Golf Night & Hall of History Grand Opening Set for Feb. 10th

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (January 9, 2018) -- The Carolinas Golf Association (CGA) has announced that the 2018 Carolinas Golf Night and CGA Annual Meeting will take place on Saturday, February 10th at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C. The CGA is also excited about the Grand Opening of the Xan Law, Jr. Carolinas Golf Hall of History, a 1,500 square foot dedicated space in Carolinas Golf House for historical displays emphasizing the CGA's history of conducting golf competitions and contributing innovations to the game. The ribbon cutting will take place at 5:00 p.m. on February 10th with the grand opening and reception immediately following. The Hall of History Grand Opening is free to attend, but registration is required.

Carolinas Golf Night will honor 2017 CGA champions, Players of the Year, and special guests. It will also include the CGA Annual Meeting which covers the order of business as required by the association's bylaws. Carolinas Golf Night and Annual Meeting will be held at Knollwood Hall, located adjacent to Carolinas Golf House. Cocktails and appetizers will be served at 6:00 pm followed by dinner, annual meeting, and awards at 7:00 pm. The CGA Annual Meeting covers the order of business as required by the association's bylaws. Carolinas Golf Night will honor 2017 CGA champions, Players of the Year, and special guests. The event is open to any individual who is a member or employee of a Carolinas Golf Association member club. Cost is $50.00 per person cocktails, dinner and meeting. Advanced registration is required. Dress is semi-formal. Coat and tie for men; comparable women's wear.
The CGA will hold a silent auction during the evening with proceeds benefiting the Carolinas Golf Foundation. Auction items include golf packages, collegiate gear, and autographed sports memorabilia. Credit cards (MC, Visa, Disc) and checks will be accepted.

About the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA)
The CGA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization that was founded in 1909 to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support and benefits to golf clubs and golfers.
