• Defending champion Josh Martin, 18, of Pinehurst, will be a freshman at UNC-Chapel Hill. The #1 ranked Junior in N.C., he was a member of the 2015 N.C. 4A High School State Championship team for Pinecrest.
• Carter Jenkins, 19, of Raleigh, also plays for the Tarheels of UNC. A rising Junior, Carter finished T-3 last year. He is the two-time defending Carolinas Amateur champion and holds six overall CGA career titles.
• Logan Harrell, 23, of Huntersville, is a two-time CGA champ who played his collegiate golf for the Wolfpack at N.C. State. At last year's championship, Logan finished T-3. His CGA wins were the 2010 Carolinas Amateur and the 2012 N.C. Four-Ball Championship.
• Wesley Conover, 22, of Holly Springs, plays his collegiate golf for the Pirates of East Carolina where he is a rising senior. He placed T-3 in last year's championship. Wesley was named to the 2015 Division I PING All-Region team.
• Justin Tereshko, 25, of Greensboro, is the golf coach at Guilford College located in Greensboro, N.C. Earlier this month, Justin won the 2015 N.C. Open. While competing at Transylvania University, he was a two-time PING NCAA Division III All-American Team selection. In 2014 he advanced to the Round of 32 (Match Play) in the U.S. Amateur.
• Sherrill Britt 49, of West End, won the Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship in April. At last month’s inaugural U.S. Four-Ball Championship, he finished runner-up with partner Greg Earnhardt.
• Greg Earnhardt, 46, of Greensboro, finished T-4 at this year's Carolinas Mid-Amateur. He was runner-up at the U.S. Four-Ball Championship with partner Sherrill Britt.
• Henry Shimp, 17, of Charlotte, the #6 Junior in N.C. is a rising high school senior who plays for Myers Park. This spring he won the individual title at the  Boys' 4A High School Western Regional. In 2014 he won the Carolinas Juniors Boys Championship and qualified for the U.S. Amateur played at Atlanta Athletic Club.
• John Grimes, 21, of Pinehurst, plays golf for Greensboro College where he is a rising senior. He won the 2015 Carolinas Four-Ball Championship with partner Zachary Martin.
• Zachary Martin, 21, of Pinehurst, is a rising senior on the UNC Tarheels golf team. He won the 2015 Carolinas Four-Ball Championship with partner John Grimes.
