16 Teams Still In Hunt for Carolinas Interclub Championship

First round matches are complete and the "sweet 16" set for round two. This past week-end saw Pine Hollow GC, Willow Springs CC and Rock Hill win over Mill Creek Golf Club, Riverwood Athletic Club and the Golf Club at Cedar Creek respectively.

The final 16 teams include five South Carolina clubs and eleven teams in North Carolina with no two clubs from the same city. The field also involves two past champions (River Hills CC and Rock Hill CC ), and three clubs (Hasentree, Club at 12 Oaks and Highlands CC, all in the same region) competing for the first time.

The 2014 Interclub Finals will involve the last two teams standing and are scheduled for November 22 & 23 at Mid Pines and Pine Needles in Southern Pines, NC.
