SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (July 18, 2016) -- On Friday, July 22nd, 552 golfers (276 sides) will compete in the 50th Carolinas Father-Son and 19th Carolinas Parent-Child Championships conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association at five courses in the Pinehurst, NC area.
The format for both championships is 18 holes of modified alternate shot. Playing in two-person teams, each team member hits from the tee. From there, one ball is selected to be played, then alternate shot until the ball is holed.
