WEST END, NC -- The Carolinas Golf Association's 14th North Carolina Senior Four-Ball Championship will take place on August 12-14 at Greenville Country Club (Greenville Course) in Greenville, NC.

The Carolinas Senior Four-Ball Championship format is 54 holes of four-ball stroke play. After 36 holes, the field is cut to the low 30 scores and ties. WALLACE, NC – Final results from U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship sectional qualifying hosted by River Landing (Landing) in Wallace, NC on Friday, August 8, 2014 (6730 yards, par 36-36—72, Rating: 72.7/131).

Two qualifying spots and two alternate positions were available at this qualifying site. 

Erik Ehlert of Raleigh, NC carded a three-under par 69 to take medalist honors. Brad Clark of Chapel Hill, NC posted a two-under 70 to secure the second qualifying spot.

The Carolinas Golf Association is pleased to announce that Grandfather Golf & Country Club in Linville, NC will once again host the Carolinas Golf Foundation Fundraiser Tournament on Monday, October 27, 2014. Entry fee is $320.00 per two-person team and includes tournament cart & range fees plus lunch following play. Entries will be limited to the first 52 teams that register. Unfortunately due to the over 7 inches of rain that continues to fall at River Landing over the past 3 days, the U.S. Mid-Amateur Sectional Qualifier has been rescheduled for Friday, August 8. Tee times will begin at 12:10pm off #1 tee on the Landing course.
