La Romana, Dominican Republic - South Carolinians Terry Willis of Taylors and John Black of Greer captured the Island Four Ball Tournament at Casa de Campo Resort. The event, in its 13th year, is the annual Island getaway for golfers and their guests of the Carolinas Golf Association.

Willis, a dentist,  and Black, an executive at Scansource are both members of Thornblade Club in Greenville, SC. This is their first win in the event.

Bryan and Blair Criminger of Waxhaw, NC and the Club at Longview matched Gunnar and Inga-Lil Lofgren of Charlotte and Raintree Country Club for the overall net title.  Both teams fired 200 totals to split the first-place prize.

Three world-class golf courses - Dye Fore, The Links and the famous Teeth of the Dog - are used for the three-day event.

This event is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.
