About: Event pits top junior girls from Maryland and Virginia versus North Carolina and South Carolina.
Eligibility: Invitation only. Players must be 18 years-old or younger and have not yet started college. Team members qualify by their finish in various junior girls championships held in the Carolinas.
Format: Day 1: Four-ball matches. Day 2: Singles matches.
Winner: 12 points available. Maryland-Virginia needs 6 points to retain cup. Carolinas needs 6 1/2 points to win cup.
All-Time: Carolinas leads 8-2-1 all-time in the series.
