It was a hard-fought win, as the team of Jordan Sease and Sam Jackson (Lexington, SC, West Columbia, SC) claim the 72nd Carolinas Four-Ball Championship defeating Brewer Bradshaw and Thomas Bradshaw (Seneca, SC, Johns Island, SC). Jackson is fresh off capturing the 43rd Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship at the Cliffs at Mountain Park in Travelers Rest, S.C., back on April 15.

"We made some clutch putts early," said Jackson. "Then we got it going with birdies on 7 and 9 to take the lead at the turn. Jordan chipped in for eagle on 11 that, which gave us a good momentum boost, and we were able to close them out on 17."

The winning duo got to the finals beating Robbie Biershenk and Rod Overholt (Boiling Springs, SC, Abbeville, SC) 3 & 2 in the round of 32, Michael Wilson and Brett Barry (Fuquay-Varina, NC, Winston-Salem, NC) 5 & 3 in the round of 16, then 5 & 4 on Clay Watkins and Jason Garrett (Mebane, NC, Stem, NC) in the quarters, and Davis Wotnosky and Grayson Wotnosky (Wake Forest, NC) 3 & 2 in the semi-finals.

The CGA extends its sincerest thank you to the members and staff of Camden Country Club for their hospitality in hosting the 72nd Carolinas Four-Ball Championship.
