GREENSBORO, N.C. (October 23, 2023) -- Final results from U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying at The Cardinal by Pete Dye in Greensboro, N.C. on Monday, October 23, 2023. (6,830, par 70).
Two qualifying sides and two alternate sides were available at this qualifying site.
Will Bowman of Raleigh, N.C. and Kyle Sonday of Cary, N.C. won medalist honors with a round of four-under-par 66. Three sides finished at three-under-par 67 and played off for the final qualifying position and the alternate spots. The side of Brett Boner of Charlotte, N.C. and Stephen Woodard of Charlotte, N.C. birdied both playoff holes to claim the second qualifying positon. Sumner Alford of Fuquay-Varina, N.C. and Jonathan Burke of Goldsboro, N.C. will be the first alternates and Andy Knox of Apex, N.C. and Blayze Dipasquale of Cary, N.C. will be the second alternates.
The qualifiers will advance to play in the championship at Philadelphia Cricket Club in Philadelphia, PA from May 25-29, 2024.
