US Women's Mid-Am Qualifying - Keith Hills
LILLINGTON, N.C. (August 21, 2022) -- Final results from U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Qualifying at Keith Hills Golf Club in Lillington, N.C. on Sunday, August 21, 2022 (6,096 yards, par 72).
Five qualifying spots and two alternate spots were available at this qualifying site.
Courtney Stiles of Pinehurst N.C. won medalist honors with a score of two-under-par 70. Katierose Higgins of Charlotte, N.C. qualified with a round of two-over-par 74 and Mary Katherine Donovan of Greenville, N.C. and Daezsa Tomas-Tamagawa of Lihue, HI qualified with rounds of four-over-par 76. CC Buford of Greenville, N.C. claimed the fifth and final qualifying spot with a round of six-over-par 78. A playoff was needed to determine the alternate positions and Meghan Mitchell of Youngsville, N.C. won to claim the first alternate position. Mariah Hopkins of Danville, VA will be the second alternate.
The qualifiers will advance to the 35th U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship at Fiddlesticks Country Club in Fort Myers, Florida from September 17-22, 2022.
