U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifying Results - Golf Club at Briar's Creek

JOHN’S ISLAND, S.C. (June 14, 2021) -- Final results from the U.S. Junior Amateur Qualifying at the Golf Club at Briar’s Creek in John’s Island, S.C. on Monday, June 14, 2021 (6,886 yards, par 36-36--72).

Five qualifying spots and two alternate positions were available at this qualifying site.

Lee Smith of Waycross, GA won medalist honors with a score of six-under-par 66. Lucas Acevedo of Charleston, S.C. and Zach Reuland of Rock Hill, S.C. at three-under-par 69, and Rowan Sullivan of Charleston, S.C. and Sam Davis of Jacksonville, FL at two-under-par 70 claimed the other four qualifying positions. Four players shot one-under-par 71 necessitating a playoff for the alternate positions. Luke Sullivan of Columbia, S.C. won the first alternate position and Cameron Johnstone of Troon, Scotland earned the second alternate position.

The qualifiers will advance to play at the championship at the Country Club of North Carolina in Pinehurst, N.C. from July 19-24, 2021.

This USGA Qualifier was conducted by the South Carolina Junior Golf Association, on behalf of the Carolinas Golf Association.
