U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Championship Qualifying Results

Fuquay-Varina, N.C. (September 1, 2016) -- Final results from the U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Championship Qualifier hosted by Bentwinds Country Club in Fuquay-Varina, N.C. on Thursday, September 1, 2016. (5,658 yards, Par 36-36--72).

Three qualifying spots and two alternate spots were available at this qualifier.

Pat Brogden of Garner, N.C. took home medalist honors with a 1-over-par 73. Noreen Mohler of Bethlehem, P.A. and Susan Beaupied of Pittsboro, N.C. also qualified for the championship proper.

Beth Thompson of Clyde, N.C. and Leigh Coulter of Hopkins, S.C. are the alternates.

Sectional qualifying, conducted over 18 holes at 24 sites nationwide, started on Monday, August 15 and concluded with today's qualifier.  The championship proper will be held at Wellesley Country Club in Wellesley, M.A. on September 17-22, 2016.
