Carolinas Mid-Am Q CCWP Results
WHISPERING PINES, NC – Sectional qualifying results of the 35th Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship hosted by the Country Club of Whispering Pines (Pines) in Whispering Pines, NC on Saturday, March 28, 2015 (6679 yards, Par 36-36—72, 72.6/129).
Mark Gauley of Raleigh, NC carded a one-over par 73 in wind chilled conditions to take medalist honors.
The cut line fell at six-over par 78. Fifteen players advanced to the 35th Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship that will be played April 17-19 at North Ridge Country Club (Lakes) in Raleigh, NC.
About the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA)
The CGA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization that was founded in 1909 to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support and benefits to golf clubs and golfers. The CGF has distributed more than $1,500,000 since 1977 to benefit Carolinas' golf initiatives including junior and women's programs.
