Mid Pines to Host College Golf Night on January 19
West End, NC - Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club and the Carolinas Golf Association announce the 2014 College Golf Night on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club Conference Center in Southern Pines, NC. This educational seminar is designed for parents and their junior golfers to learn about the recruiting process and to discuss the transition from a junior golfer to a collegiate golfer. Admission is free and is open to anyone interested in playing college golf.Topics that will be discussed are: NCAA Clearinghouse, Ping College Golf Guide, what events to play in, recruiting dates and NCAA guidelines, the recruiting process, junior golf resumes, scholarship opportunities and how to prepare for college golf. *Presentations will be given by Jan Mann, Women’s Head Coach at UNC-Chapel Hill, Corey Maggard, Men’s Head Coach at Guilford College, Terrance Stewart, Men’s Head Coach at UNC-Greensboro, David Synan, Men’s and Women’s coach at UNC-Pembroke and Mr. Jason Cox, Director of Junior Golf for the Carolinas Golf Association.
