Carolinas Golf Association Launches New Website
West End, NC - As part of our transition to the GHIN handicap system, the Carolinas Golf Association launched a new website. Please re-set your bookmarks and favorites to point to the new website. As with any new website launch there may be issues with page links as the site was moved from a testing stage to the live environment. We are working to resolve those issues as soon as possible.
Some new features of the website are a home page slider to feature events, people and news stories. A Recent News section that is a blog with the latest news and press releases from the CGA. The Recent News items will be integrated into the CGA Mobile App. A much improved site navigation menu and page layout design.
Also integrated on the home page is the MyCGA Member Login area. All members will have to create a new MyCGA account. Currently members will use the "Post a Score" tab to set-up their eGolfer account to post scores, track statistics and receive the e-Revision newsletter on each handicap revision date. Tournament players will use the "Tournament Signup" tab to create and login to the Tournament Pairing Program (TPP) Online Golfer site to register for CGA tournaments. The goal is to have a single login for both score posting and tournament signup in the near future.
You will notice a new branding scheme used by the CGA. The blue plaid background that is prominent at the top of the pages will be used throughout various CGA materials in the future.
