PINEHURST, N.C. -- Final results of the 18th Carolinas Parent-Child Championship conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association at Pinewild Country Club's Magnolia course on Friday, July 24, 2015 (Par 36-36--72, 5100 yards).

Last year's championship team of Kevin Tindal and Jodee Tindal of Rock Hill, S.C. defended their title by mixing seven birdies with four bogeys for a three-under 69. The championship format is 18 holes of modified alternate shot. Playing in two-person teams, both team members hit from the tee, select one ball to be played, then play alternate shot until the ball is holed.
"Jodee makes it real easy," said Kevin. "She hits it right down the middle. We played 17 of Jodee's tee balls today."
"And he made all the putts," added Jodee.
The Tindal's bested by one stroke both three-time Parent-Child champions Gary Robinson and Lauren Robinson of Fayetteville, N.C. and one of last year's runners-up, Kevin Hammond and Hayley Hammond of Mooresville, N.C. An eagle on their final hole by the Hammond duo was not enough to force a playoff the Tindal's.
"It's something we look forward to every year," said Kevin Tindal. "It's a great event event and we've been doing it since both Jodee and her sister Jaelyn were little."
