HICKORY, NC – Sectional qualifying results of the 2014 North Carolina Mid-Amateur Championship hosted by Lake Hickory Country Club (Fox Run/Sulphur Springs) in Hickory, NC on Thursday, September 4, 2014 (6572 yards, Par 36-36—72, 71.7/139).
Dustin McCrary from Statesville, NC shot a five-under par 67 to earn medalist honors. The cut line fell at three-over par 75. 10 players advanced to the 21st North Carolina Mid-Amateur Championship that will be played September 19-21 at Old Chatham in Durham, NC.
This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association which is in its 105th year of serving amateur golf in the Carolinas.
