SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (October 24, 2018) –  The final four teams in the 3rd Carolinas Senior Interclub Season competed Wednesday, October 24th at Pine Needles Golf & Lodge in Southern Pines, N.C.

The format of the championship is four-ball net match play for men ages 55 and older. Eight players from each team compete in four matches with six total points awarded in each match (two for front nine, two for back nine, two for the overall match).

The 41st Carolinas Club Championship has been rescheduled for Monday, November 12 at Sedgefield Country Club (Ross Course) in Greensboro, NC.  Practice rounds will be available on November 11. 

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (October 15, 2018) -- A contingent of 24 golfers will represent the Carolinas against their Virginias counterparts at the 73rd Captain’s Putter Team Matches, set for Friday-Saturday, Oct. 19-20 at Spring Creek Golf Club in Zion Crossroads, VA.

The Captain’s Putter is an annual set of matches pitting top golfers from North Carolina and South Carolina against top players from Virginia and West Virginia (Virginia ...
