The CGA is watching the weather for this weekend and how Hurricane Laura may affect the conditions in the Morganton, NC area. 
 
As of tonight, all starting times are on schedule. 
 
Forecast for Saturday morning does look iffy, but the rest of the weekend looks to be fantastic.
 
We will do everything in our power to get all 36-holes in on Saturday and Sunday.  We will NOT stay and play past Sunday.

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (August 27, 2020) -- The Carolinas Golf Association will conduct the Inaugural Mimosa Hills Junior Invitational at Mimosa Hills Country Club in Morganton, N.C. from August 29 - 30, 2020. The Boys’ division will compete at approximately 6,755 yards, par 72. The Girls’ division will compete at approximately 5,810 yards, par 72.

Allen Kinney of Oak Island, NC earned medalist honors with a score of two-over-par 74.

The cut line fell at six-over par, 78. 4 players advanced to the 59th Carolinas Senior Amateur Championship at Ballantyne Country Club in Charlotte, NC on September 9-11, 2020.
