(May 11, 2020) – On March 13, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CGA/TYGA made the decision to postpone or suspend all activities and events ultimately through May 28.  Just as we took a conservative approach in the cancelations of events at the beginning of this pandemic, we will try to do the same as we re-open tournaments.  We now want to take this opportunity to update everyone on our current plans for May 29 and beyond.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 29, 2020) –  The HV3 Foundation and the Carolinas Golf Association have announced the inaugural Daniel Meggs Memorial Junior golf tournament.  The tournament will be contested at Providence Country Club in Charlotte, N.C. on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 and will be conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association.  An anticipated field of 84 juniors will compete on the course originally designed by Dan Maples and redesigned by Mike Gleason before architect Kris Spence renovated the course in 2018.

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (April 1, 2020) -- Three CGA alumnae including Gina Kim, Rachel Kuehn and Emilia Migliaccio, have been selected to represent the United States in the 2020 Arnold Palmer Cup. Dan Brooks, the Duke women's golf head coach and one of this year's Carolinas Golf Hall of Fame inductees, will lead the U.S. squad.
