Preview: 20th North Carolinas Four-Ball Championship

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. -- The 20th North Carolina Four-Ball Championship will be played at Croasdaile Country Club in Durham from October 9-11, 2015.

A full field of 80 teams are entered into the championship. The 2014 champion team, brothers Mark Gauley of Raleigh and Brian Gauley of Wake Forest, return seeking a title defense. The duo also captured the title in 2006.

Despite the wet weather, ten teams were able to play their scheduled matches this past week-end while two matches had to be re-scheduled. Round1 has completed for both regions and six teams have already advanced to the 3^rd round (“sweet 16”) of the playoffs. Defending champion Highland Creek CC was 1 of 5 teams able to advance.

Due to recent rain and forecast for even more rain through the weekend, we have decided to postpone the Jimmy Anderson Girls' Invitational.

We are looking at several dates and will announce the new date in the next day.
