In nearly half those contests, the same woman, Patty Moore, 64, of Charlotte, N.C. was crowned champion. SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. – The 19^th North Carolina Four-Ball Championship will be played on the Lakes course at North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh from October 3-5. The 6,880 yard par 72 layout was designed by Gene Hamm and George Cobb, then later redesigned by John LaFoy to assure challenge and playability for players of all skill levels. The club has held two previous CGA championships; the 1997 Carolinas Mid-Amateur and the 2011 N.C.
