William Ovenden of Mt. WALLACE, N.C. (April 6, 2021) - The 26th Tar Heel Cup Matches presented by Holderness & Bourne took place at River Landing Country Club’s River Course in Wallace, N.C. featuring the eight top amateurs and PGA professionals from North Carolina. For the professionals to take back the cup, they needed 6.5 points and the amateurs needed 6 points to retain the cup. After winning five out of the eight singles matches today, the professionals were able to take back the cup and capture their 15th Tar Heel Cup title.
