GREENSBORO, N.C. –– Results following the first day of four-ball matches at 2013 Carolinas Interclub Championship Finals at Sedgefield Country Club (Dye Course) in Greensboro, N.C. on Saturday, November 16, 2013.

The 2013 Carolinas Interclub Championship Finals is a rematch of the 2011 affair with Bentwinds Golf and Country Club from Fuquay-Varina, NC facing Fort Mill Golf Club of Fort Mill, SC.

Fort Mill won the 2011 title by a narrow 26-22 score.

To advance to the finals, Bentwinds beat Lincoln Country Club 20-16 and Fort Mill defeated Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation 22-14.

The finals are set for November 16-17 at Sedgefield Country Club’s Dye Course in Greensboro, NC. Four-Ball matches will be played on Saturday followed by singles matches on Sunday...

Four teams have made it to the semi-finals of the 2013 CGA Interclub Championship. In the East Regionals, Bentwinds CC (Fuquay-Varina, NC) took on the Anderson Creek GA (Spring Lake, NC) on Saturday October 26 and won convincingly 29-7. Taking 12 of 18 points at home, Bentwinds Paul Gurney and Matt Witosky won all three matches and 6 points to lead their team.
