The Carolinas Women's Four-Ball Championship, which began in 1978, is the oldest women's CGA championship. This championship is conducted at 36 holes of four-ball stroke play with a Championship division and a Senior division (which is comprised of players that have reached their 50th birthday by May 23, 2017). This competition includes gross scores only. Teams are pre-flighted within their division based on
combined team Handicap Index®.
Entry is open to any female amateur golfer who has reached her 13th birthday by May 23, 2017, is a legal resident of North Carolina or South Carolina, is a member in good standing of a club which is a member of the Carolinas Golf Association and has an active GHIN® USGA Handicap Index®. |
