Team SC 2026 will be named in late 2025. Players must earn their way onto the team each year.
 

Players must be 13 years old by Jan. 1, 2026, have not reached their 19th birthday by July 19, 2026, and must not be enrolled in college for the 2025-2026 school year.
 

Yes. Only players who are legal residents of South Carolina and members of the Carolinas Golf Association are eligible for Team SC. 
 

The Team South Carolina Committee will name 8 boys and 8 girls to Team South Carolina in 2026. Athletes earn their way onto the team through outstanding competitive performance during the 2025 season. The top 6 players on the SC Junior Boys' and SC Junior Girls' Rankings will be automatically selected. The Committee will hold two captains' picks to make the team. Players must play in at least 3 Multi-Day CGA, SCGA, SCJGA, WSCGA, CPGA or USGA events in a Calendar Year(USGA/PGA One Day Qualifiers will count in place of a two-day). Once an athlete commits to Team SC, they can expect to receive team gear, invitations to state camps at elite facilities, support and mentorship from the Team SC staff and access to other resources as needed.
 

Yes! Once named to Team SC, athletes are a part of the USNDP for the following calendar year. The USNDP will provide benefits and recognition to Team SC participants. These benefits may include recognition on the USGA/USNDP website and social media, streamlined USNDP grant applications, exemptions to local AJGA events, and access to the official USNDP statistical platform.
