Regular Membership
Regular membership is open to any organized golf club in North Carolina or South Carolina which operates regularly at a golf course. It must be a permanent club composed of at least 25 individual dues-paying members who are admitted by a committee chosen by members. It does not have to be incorporated nor does it have to control the course at which it plays. Not more than one CGA member club may operate at any one golf course.

CGA member clubs pay annual dues of $50. Membership entitles the club to agronomy services (plus expenses), handicap services, course measuring and slope rating services, discounted group property, casualty and worker's compensation insurance programs created specifically for member clubs, and a tournament schedule that ranges from one-day handicap events to championship tournaments designed to recognize the best golfers in North and South Carolina.

It must be a permanent club composed of at least 10 individual dues-paying members who are admitted by a committee chosen by members. The club must form a handicap committee to ensure that the USGA Handicap System requirements are being followed properly. The club must submit a roster of club members with addresses upon acceptance with annual updates if membership is renewed and allow its members a reasonable and regular opportunity to play with each other. The club pays and annual due of $50.
