Members of the Carolinas Golf Association's junior teams are selected by the following criteria:
Boys’ team members must be 18 years of age or younger and who have not started college.
The following are invited to participate in the Carolinas-Virginias junior team matches:
  • SCGA SC Junior Champion
  • CGA NC Junior Champion
  • CGA SC Junior Match Play Champion
  • CGA Carolinas Junior Champion and Runner-up
  • Dogwood State Junior Champion
  • 2 captain's picks
If any invitee is not still eligible or does not accept the invitation, a captain’s pick will be used at the discretion of the team captain.
Invited players must have played in at least 1 CGA junior championship the year of matches.
