12th Vicki DiSantis Girls' Championship
Pine Island Country Club
Charlotte, NC
May 13-14, 2017
 

  • 36-hole stroke play tournament

  • All girls compete in one division; there are no age divisions

  • Open to girls from NC and SC ages 12-18 who have a USGA Handicap Index of 18.3 or lower

  • $125 entry fee

  • Registration opens on March 1st (8 pm) for exempt players and on March 22nd (8 pm) for non-exempt players and closes for all players on April 26th.  Exempt players must register by March 22nd to ensure acceptance.  

 

 


21st North Carolina Junior Girls'

June 13-16, 2017
 

  • Match play event where top 32 from 36-hole stroke play qualifier (June 13 & 14) advance to match play
  • Once a player loses a match they are eliminated from the tournament

  • All girls compete in one division.  There are no age divisions

  • Open to girls from North Carolina ages 12-18 who have a USGA Handicap Index of 18.3 or lower

  • $125 entry fee

  • Registration opens on May 8th (8 pm) and closes on June 7th.

 

 


51st Twin States Junior Girls' Championship

  • Open to girls from NC and SC ages 8-18 who have a USGA Handicap Index of 18.3 or lower

  • Stroke play event with two divisions; juniors (36 holes) and sub-juniors (18 holes, 9 each day)

  • Junior division:    Made up of any girls 12 years of age or older regardless of handicap
  • Sub-junior division: made up of any girls 8-11 years of age or younger regardless of handicap

  • $125 entry fee

  • Registration opens on May 15th (8 pm) and closes on June 16th.

 

 


11th Carolinas Junior Girls' 15 & Under

  • Two day stroke play event with players playing in three divisions

  • Divisions are:   Sub-juniors (11 years old and younger, play 9 holes each day), juniors (18-holes each day at approx. 5200 yards) and championship (18-holes each day at approx. 5700 yards)

  • Open to girls from North Carolina and South Carolina who are 6-15 years of age

  • USGA handicap is not needed

  • $50 entry fee

  • Registration opens on May 21st (8 pm) and closes on June 29th.

  • Match play event where top 16 from 18-hole stroke play qualifier (July 19th) advance to match play

  • Open to girls from South Carolina ages 12-18 who have a USGA Handicap Index of 18.3 or lower

20th Carolinas Parent-Child Championship

  • Each team plays alternate shot except that both team members hit from each  tee and then select the ball to be played (modified alternate shot). A team  must complete the hole with the ball selected. 

  • Teams may compete in whichever division they are eligible:  Amateur Division;  Open Division 

  • Approximate Yardage (*Note: yardage is subject to change):  Amateur Males age 14 & up=6100 yards; Amateur Females age 14 & up and Professional Females=5,400 yards;  13 & Under Boys & Girls and Females age 50+=4,700 yards;  Professional Males=6,600 yards 
  • Entries open June 4th at 8pm and close July 6th.

 

 


16th Mid-Atlantic Girls' Challenge Team Matches

  • Event pits top junior girls from Maryland and Virginia versus North Carolina and South Carolina
  • Invitation only; team members qualify by their finish in various CGA junior girls' championships
  • Players must be 18 years-old or younger and have not yet started college
  • Format: Day 1: Four-ball matches. Day 2: Singles matches
 

 


61st Carolinas Junior Girls' Championship

August 1-3, 2017
 

  • Open to girls from NC and SC ages 8-18 who have a USGA Handicap Index of 18.3 or lower

  • Stroke play event with two divisions; juniors (54 holes) and sub-juniors (27 holes, 9 each day)

  • Junior division:    Made up of any girls 12 years of age or older regardless of handicap
  • Sub-junior division: made up of any girls 8-11 years of age or younger regardless of handicap

  • $125 entry fee

  • Registration opens on June 20th (8 pm) and closes on July 21st..

  • Format is 18-holes of Pinehurst Foursomes
  • All competitors compete in one division
  • Trophies are awarded to the top three teams
  • Open to juniors ages 8-18
  • $140 entry fee per team and includes, cart fees, range fees, lunch and prizes
  • Registration opens on June 21st at 8 pm. Closes on August 2nd.

  • Field will be reduced to the low half of the field and ties after 36-holes

  • $125 entry fee

  • Registration opens on June 20th (8 pm) and closes July 27th.
