The Links course
was closed for renovation this year so our group was forced
to play Pete Dye’s Teeth of the Dog course twice. Not a
complaint was heard even though the Links course is a
wonderful test in itself and would be considered a top
destination if it were not up against Teeth and the Dye Fore
courses. Next year all three courses should be available for
the tournament.
With warm
weather, great course conditions, all inclusive delicious
food and adult beverages, all players were winners. New
friendships were forged and old friends reunited. With net
and gross prizes there is a place for players of all levels
and no one leaves Casa without feeling they got their monies
worth.
The dates for
next year have been set for a return to Casa de Campo. The
event will held February 16-23, 2013 with actual tournament
days scheduled for February 20-22.
