US Senior Women's Open Qualifying - CC of Salisbury
SALISBURY, N.C. (July 13, 2022) -- Final results from U.S. Senior Women’s Open Qualifying at the Country Club of Salisbury in Salisbury, N.C. on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. (5,855 yards, par 71).
Five qualifying spots and two alternate spots were available at this qualifying site.
Brenda Kuehn of Asheville, N.C. won medalist honors with a round of one-under-par 70. Denise Killeen of Canton, Georgia shot even-par 71, Joy Bonhurst of Kensington, S.C. and Pam Prescott of Piedmont, S.C. shot two-over-par 73, and Laura Shanahan Rowe of Hampton, New Hampshire finished at four-over-par 74 to claim the other qualifying spots. Three players shot five-over-par 76 and went to a playoff to determine the alternate positions. Jayne Pardus of Mount Pleasant, S.C. won the first alternate positon and Anne Marie Palli of Phoenix, Arizona will be the second alternate.
The qualifiers will advance to the 4th U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship at NCR Country Club in Kettering, Ohio, from August 25-28, 2022.
