US Senior Women's Amateur Qualifying - Woodcreek Club

 

ELGIN, S.C. (July 6, 2022) -- Final results from U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Qualifying at Woodcreek Club in Elgin, S.C. on Wednesday July 6, 2022. (5,739 yards, par 72).

Five qualifying spots and two alternate spots were available at this qualifying site. 

Lee Burton of Johns Island, S.C. won medalist honors with a score of four-over-par 76. Ulrika Migliaccio of Cary, N.C. shot five-over-par 77, Pam Prescott of Piedmont, S.C. shot six-over-par 78, and Shelly White of Atlanta, GA shot eight-over-par 80 to claim the second, third and fourth qualifying positions. Charlotte Twitty of Chapin, S.C. and Sarah Phillips-Durst of Pinehurst, N.C. shot nine-over-par 81 and needed a playoff to determine the final qualifying position. Twitty won the playoff and the fifth qualifying position and Phillips-Durst will be the first alternate. Brenda Pictor of Marietta, GA shot ten-over-par 82 to earn the second alternate position.

The qualifiers will advance to the 60^th U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship at Anchorage Golf Course in Anchorage, Alaska, from July 30 – August 4, 2022.
