2022 US Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying - CC of Salisbury
SALISBURY, N.C. (October 23, 2021) -- Final results from U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying at the Country Club of Salisbury in Salisbury, N.C. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 (6,720 yards, par 35-35--70).
Two qualifying spots and two alternate spots were available at this qualifying site.
The side of Chad Wilfong of Charlotte, N.C. and Davis Womble of Winston-Salem, N.C. and the side of Alex Finke of Rock Hill, S.C. and Damon Postal of Charlotte N.C. qualified for the championship with rounds of seven-under-par 63. The side of Olof Bengtsson and Matthew Kligo of Charlotte, N.C. won the first alternate position with a birdie on the first playoff hole after shooting a round of six-under-par 64. Ralph Blasey of Charlottesville, VA and Alex Nianouris of Raleigh, N.C. will be the second alternates.
The qualifiers will advance to play at the championship at the Country Club of Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama from May 14-18, 2022.
This USGA Qualifier was conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association on behalf of the United States Golf Association.
