US Women's Mid-Am Qualifying - CC of Lexington

 

LEXINGTON, S.C. (August 24, 2022) -- Final results from U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Qualifying at the Country Club of Lexington, S.C. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 (6,019 yards, par 72).

Three qualifying spots and two alternate spots were available at this qualifying site. 

Connor Macon of Charlotte, N.C. won medalist honors with a round of three-over-par 75. Catherine Shealy of Columbia, S.C. and Colleen Estes of Charlotte, N.C. both shot four-over-par 76 to claim the second and third qualifying spots. Lin Culver of Palm Coast, Florida and Lauren Bates of Columbia, S.C. both shot rounds of seven-over-par 79 and headed to a playoff to determine the alternate positions. Bates won the playoff and will be the first alternate while Culver will be the second alternate.

The qualifiers will advance to the 35^th U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship at Fiddlesticks Country Club in Fort Myers, Florida from September 17-22, 2022.
