US Women's Open Final Qualifying - Mid Pines

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. (May 3, 2022) -- Final results from U.S. Women’s Open Final Qualifying at Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. (6,334 yards, par 36-36--72).

Three qualifying spots and two alternate spots were available at this qualifying site.

Bethany Wu of Diamond Bar, CA earned medalist honors with a two-round score of four-under-par 140. Five players shot even-par 144 and went to a playoff to settle the final two qualifying spots and the two alternate spots. Anna Morgan of Spartanburg, S.C. birdied the first playoff hole and Pauline Roussin-Bouchard of Columbia, S.C. birdied the second playoff hole to claim the final two qualifying spots. Allison Emrey of Charlotte, N.C. won the first alternate position and Gina Kim of Durham, N.C. will be the second alternate.

The qualifiers will advance to the U.S. Women’s Open Championship across the street at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C. from June 2-5, 2022.
