Carolinas Amateur Qualifying Results - Orangeburg CC
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (June 15, 2020) – Sectional qualifying results for the 106th Carolinas Amateur Championship hosted by Orangeburg Country Club in Orangeburg, S.C. on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 as a part of the first round of stroke play qualifying for the 48th South Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship (7,032 yards, par 36-36--72).
Elliott Pope of Lugoff, S.C. earned medalist honors with a score of 6-under-par, 66. He also is tied for the overall lead after the first round of stroke play qualifying at the 48th South Carolina Amateur Match Play Championship.
The cut line fell at 2-under-par, 70. Six players advanced to the 106th Carolinas Amateur Championship that will be played at Cape Fear Country Club in Wilmington, N.C. from July 9-12.

About the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA)
The CGA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization that was founded in 1909 to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support and benefits to golf clubs and golfers. The CGA is the second largest golf association in the country with over 700 member clubs represented by nearly 150,000 individuals.
The CGA annually conducts 48 championships and five team match competitions for men, women, juniors, and seniors. The CGF has distributed nearly $2,000,000 since 1977 to benefit Carolinas' golf initiatives including junior and women's programs.
