US Mid-Am Qualifying- River Run CC

DAVIDSON, NC– Final results from US Mid-Amateur Sectional Qualifying hosted by River Run Country Club in Davidson, NC on Monday, August 19, 2019 (6,797 yards, par 36-36—72).

Four qualifying spots and two alternate positions were available at this qualifying site.

Steve Harwell of Mooresville, NC, William Buchanan of Greensboro, NC and Timothy Driver of Holly Springs, NC shared medalist honors with rounds of 2 under par 70. Ryan Greer of Knoxville, TN earned the final qualifying position with a birdie on the second playoff hole. Austin King of Huntersville, NC took the 1^st alternate position. Jason Debuhr of Charlotte, NC earned the 2^nd alternate position with a par on the second playoff hole after a round of 1 over par 73.

The qualifiers will advance to the US Mid-Amateur Championship at Colorado Golf Club from September 14-19, 2019.

This qualifier was conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association on behalf of the United States Golf Association.
