2018 U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying Results
from Pinewild Country Club (Magnolia) in Pinehurst, N.C.


PINEHURST, N.C. (October 23, 2017) -- Final results from 2018 U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Qualifying at Pinewild Country Club's Magnolia Course in Pinehurst, N.C. on October 23, 2017 (6172 yards, par 36-36--72, Course/Slope rating: 75.9/136).

Izzy Pellot of Altamonte Springs, F.L. and Chloe Schiavone of Jacksonville, F.L. earned medalist honors after posting a scorching round of five-under-par 67. The two Florida high school students earned medalists honors by three strokes.

Phoebe Brinker of Wilmington, D.E. and Jennifer Cleary of Geenville, D.E. are the first alternates. Courtney McKim of Raleigh, N.C. and Tara Joy-Connelly of North Palm Beach, F.L. are second alternates.

One qualifying spot and two alternate positions were available at this qualifying site.

Qualifying is conducted over 18 holes at 27 locations around the United States. The championship proper will be held at El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, Calif. on April 28-May 2, 2018.

This qualifier was conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association on behalf of the United States Golf Association.

About the Carolinas Golf Association (CGA)

The CGA is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization that was founded in 1909 to promote and to protect the game of golf in the Carolinas by providing competitions, education, support and benefits to golf clubs and golfers.
