Final Results of the U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Sectional Qualifying at Croasdaile Country Club

Durham, NC – Final results of the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship Sectional Qualifier hosted by Croasdaile Country Club on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.  Par 36-36—72 5743 yards (Rating: 73.3/137)

Three past CGA champions punched their ticket to the U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur Championship that will take place at the Hollywood Golf Club in Deal, NJ on September 13-18.   Pat Brogden of Garner, NC earned medalist honors after firing an even par round of 72.   Other qualifiers include Angela Stewart of Greenville, NC and Kim Briele of New Bern, NC.   Briele earned her spot after the first playoff hole against Lynda Case of Ft. Myers, FL.   Anne Washington of Myrtle Beach, SC was 2 ^nd alternate.   All three qualifiers are from North Carolina and have won a Carolinas Women’s Senior title or a NC Women’s Senior Amateur title in the past and should represent the Carolinas well at their national championship.

This championship qualifier was conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association on behalf of the United States Golf Association (USGA).
