Carolinas Senior Amateur Sectional Qualifying Results from Pinewood CC
ASHEBORO, NC – Sectional qualifying results of the 53rd Carolinas Senior Amateur Championship hosted by Pinewood Country Club in Asheboro, NC on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 (6275 yards, Par 36-36—72, 70.9/131).
Glen Subin of Pinehurst, NC, Tim Whitener of Hickory, NC and Scotty Odell of Trinity, NC each carded an even par 72 to share medalist honors.
The cut line fell at seven-over par 79. 27 players advanced to the 53rd Carolinas Senior Amateur Championship that will be played September 24-26 at Sedgefield Country Club’s Dye course in Greensboro, NC.
This championship is conducted by the Carolinas Golf Association which is in its 105th year of serving amateur golf in the Carolinas.
