Anderson weather update
CGA staff has arrived in Jacksonville to prep for Anderson Boys.
Golf course is in good shape and very dry.
We are watching the forecast for Saturday and as of now everything is on schedule.
Hourly forecast is for Saturday morning storms, but should move out by early afternoon. Sunday looks great with very little chance of rain.
Here is what could happen:

Hourly forecast is for Saturday morning storms, but should move out by early afternoon. Sunday looks great with very little chance of rain.
Here is what could happen:
-
Weather moves through and we start on time.
-
Weather is slower and we modify to shotgun start at 2 or 3 pm. Play as many as we can on Saturday and come back Sunday am (8 or 9 am depending when crew can get course ready), finish round one and go straight into round 2. Gets dark now around 7:15, so we could get in at least 15-18 holes on Saturday with a 3 pm start.
-
Weather does not clear until later in Saturday and we reduce to 18 holes on Sunday morning with tee times.
Option one is our preferred choice, but we cannot control the weather. We will do everything we can to get all 36 holes and hope to finish on Sunday afternoon so everyone can get back home at a decent hour.
Any changes to schedule will be texted, emailed and post on twitter and facebook.
Thanks for your understanding and supporting the CGA.
