Stovall-Baker Wins N.C. Four-Ball
Brant Stovall-Anthony Baker
DURHAM, N.C. – Final results of the 20th North Carolina Four-Ball Championship hosted by Croasdaile Country Club in Durham, N.C. on Sunday, October 11, 2015 (6851 yards, par 36-36—72, 72.8/136).
On the sixth playoff hole, Anthony Baker of Walkertown canned a three foot eagle putt to win the North Carolina Four-Ball Championship with partner Brant Stovall of Asheboro. Stovall-Baker survived the extended playoff over Chris Holland and Billy West of Fayetteville. Stovall-Baker and Holland-West played together in round three and each side fired 10-under par 62’s to finish at 195 (-21 under par) for the championship. This is the first CGA championship title for Stovall and Baker. It was a title that almost did not happen as Stovall fought a bout of vertigo during Friday’s first round.
