Johnson will handle pre-tournament administration for men's and women's championships such as communicating with host club staff and tournament participants. Dalton Rich of Durham, N.C. defeated John O'Brien of Columbia, S.C. on the first playoff hole to advance to the Web.com Tour Rex Hospital Open.  Rich and O'Brien each shot rounds of five under par 67 on the Tom Fazio designed course at Treyburn CC in Durham, NC.  Rich, an assistant golf professional at Treyburn CC, two putted the eightenth hole for par on the first playoff hole while O'Brien missed a twelve foot par putt.  Rich will compete in the Web.com Tour event at TPC Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh, N....

Defending champions Zachary Martin and John Grimes of Pinehurst, N.C. will not be in the field, but other past champions are represented. 2012 & 2014 champion Matthew Crenshaw of Burlington, N.C. will team with three-time CGA champion Banks Wood Jr. of Charlotte, N.C. Crenshaw's 2012 partner, Blair Bowland of Burlington, N.C., will play with Dustin Moore of Greensboro, N.C.
